More Joomla! 1.6 extensions becoming available

One of the biggest concerns when considering upgrading to Joomla! 1.6, is the availability of 3rd party extensions.

Many developers have been slow to catch up with the recent release of the next version of Joomla! However, many noteable extensions have finally made it to v.16!

Among the most important extensions to be given consideration are those that extend the core functionality of Joomla!

SH404 & ACESef are popular search engine friendly extensions that extend the SEO elements of your website far beyond the default Joomla! install. We include SH404 in particular in the majority of our website builds.

We would not consider upgrading a clients website or building a new website with Joomla 1.6 unless either of these extensions were available.
