Joomla version 1.0 will be retired on 22nd July 2009, marking 2 years since the first release of the current version Joomla 1.5.
Retirement means no further development, security patches or improvements will be made to version 1.0 following this date. This gives users of version 1.0 a valid reason to consider upgrading to the more functional, user friendly and more actively supported version 1.5.
Existing clients wishing to upgrade should contact us, however we will be in touch with those clients in the first quarter of 2009 to discuss upgrading to Joomla 1.5.
