E commerce sites offer huge benefits to a business and with the FT.com saying in February of this year that £45bn is generated each year via e-commerce alone, for your business to survive you must take your wares and display them online.

More and more businesses understand the importance of having a digital presence and the high street is slowly making its way online. Whilst it is unlikely that that the high street will disappear entirely, it is increasingly important for those business that sell products to have an e-commerce site.

The EU Cookie Law Changes

On May the 26th a new EU based privacy law comes into place that requires websites that store information through cookies (and other browser technologies), to get permission from the website user before storing any information.

Bearing in mind that nearly every website uses some form of a cookie, this is a fairly dramatic change in law.
